Hey Everyone,
So I work for Qualtrics, they have developed an online survey software and sell licenses to access it to both companies and universities. Anyway, they are really growing, and are wanting to hire 15 new sales people by the end of July. Now, the sales position is phone sales, pretty much all outbound. The goal is to get the people you contact to view an online demonstration of the tool. Once you get more familiar with the product and comfortable on the phones you will also be trained in how to actually do the demonstrations yourself as well. If you are wanting part time, the hours are M-F 8 am - 12 pm or M-F 12 pm - 4 pm. If you are wanting full time it is M-F 8 am - 4 pm (ish). While I am not sure what pay is based on, I know no one starts lower than $10/hour. You also get commission on actual sales you make (not on setting the demos, but once they purchase). I know phone sales, and sales in general, is not appealing to a lot of people, but it is a product you will really believe in and the company is awesome to work for. It is a fun place and they treat their employees really well. For anyone interested (and I mean seriously interested) email me rachel.husberg@gmail.com and I'll tell you how to apply.
I guess I will add they are wanting to hire a few more engineers as well, but the goal for is mainly to add 15 sales people by end of July. But, for those of you computer engineers you can ask me about it, too.

Anniversary, Alaska, and Hair
First, for those of you who couldn't see the clip of me crossing the finish line on the marathon post, I have uploaded the actual video, its not a link anymore, so you can see it now!
Ah! So, we had a busy couple of weeks so it will, as usual, be a lot of pictures.
First, we celebrated our two-year anniversary on June 7, 2010! It is crazy, the one year felt exciting because it was the "one year" and not that this one wasn't exciting, but it just felt more...solid. We made it this far, it made it seem like a long time even though in the grand scheme its so little time! But, it has been a wonderful year. To celebrate we went to the Anniversary Inn in Logan, UT. This place has themed rooms, its sweet. We stayed in Vegas Nights. Before you judge, the room was AMAZING and the one little section with gambling things we ignored.
BIG circle bed!
View with the HUGE TV, 52". We watched 3 movies and lots of TV shows in the 22 hours we were there, lol, it was SO RELAXING!

The sitting area.
OK THIS WAS THE SWEETEST PART. 1, the four knob things on the left, yes, the spray water AT you in that direction. 2) the HUGE shower head on top. 3) on the right is a "normal" shower head that you can take off with the hose on it. So, 3 directions at one time. AWESOME.

Lastly, rest of the lovely bathroom, really big jetted tub, TV. We brought bubble bath and it was almost overflowing, it was just so fun.
Ok, second trip. Alaska for 6 days. We visited family and celebrated Chris's dad's birthday up there as well. The biggest event was going to Homer, about 4 hours away, which is a really popular fishing area. Technically we were in Ninilchik, but we also went down to Homer. Chris, his dad Brad, and I went deep sea halibut fishing. I'll post a few pictures, but I'll tell the stories first.
The drive to and from was absolutely gorgeous. Even though it was a little rainy and overcast, the mountains and scenery were just majestic. We saw a moose (almost hit the moose actually), mountain goats, and sea otters!
We went on a fishing boat with another family of 3 who were really nice and we were all good friends by the end. The captain "didn't believe" in letting us use things that can help you hold your rod up, either a waist belt or a rod holder you put on the rail. So, my arm was SO TIRED. Halibut are on the sea floor, so you have to put a 5 lb weight on it as well so it hits the floor. Then, its a couple hundred feet down so it seems to take FOREVER to reel anything up. The first fish I caught was a halibut, a small one, but I kept it anyway. You can keep 2 and I figured I could catch another one that would probably be bigger. However, I then caught 3 or 4 cod! All the work for a fish that isn't even good (they aren't good for eating in that region). Ugh. The first fish Chris caught was an Irish Lord. He also caught one halibut and a bunch of cod. Brad caught 2 halibut, one small and one pretty big so he was done pretty early. After a couple hours Brad and Chris got sick, and then I got sick right as we were stopping and getting ready to leave. So, Chris and I opted out of staying longer to try and catch another one. The biggest one caught on our boat was by the other family, 50 lbs!! The ones we caught that were small were probably only like 20, maybe. But I really liked it and want to go again, maybe next time we will go Salmon fishing, I hear that's easier. Once you gut and clean the fish you have about half its weight in meat. All together our family ended up with about 35 lbs of fish. Whats pretty cool is fresh halibut costs $10-$12 a lb in the store! We had to pay to go on the boat, of course, but we caught back quite a bit of our tickets. And we ate some of the halibut without having to freeze it, so it was SO FRESH and so good. Chris and I brought some home with us too, enough to eat about 5 meals of halibut. Pictures....Chris posted some on facebook already so sorry for those of you who will have already seen them.
Chris's Irish Lord. Weird looking, eh?
My halibut! And Matt, who was a great deck hand, very nice and helpful and funny.
Chris's halibut, and our captain, who was also nice deep down though pretty strict.

From left to right of the fish, Chris's, Brad's, Brad's, mine. Baby fish, but thats okay. They said the small ones actually taste better because they aren't as tough.

This is just nasty, bit I wanted to post it anyway! Those bumps are SEA LICE!!!!
Also in Alaska Chris, me, and his brother Jason hiked Mt. Baldy. It is a steep hike, like unto Y mountain. But, hiking the Y (at BYU) gives you breaks from the steepness, Baldy is steep the whole way! But, once you are at the top the view is gorgeous!

The last thing I did up there was do a 5 mile walk for Breast Cancer with Chris's mom Michelle and some other friends of hers. I have been up there enough times that I actually knew a few of them quite well, so it was really fun.
We all wore pink leopard head bands, and the two ladies who are also wearing pink hats are survivors. It was really cool to see how many women there were who were survivors of breast cancer. There was 7,500 participants, it was the biggest event of its kind so far! Go Alaska!
Oops, forgot this pic in the fishing trip, this is us near Homer.
Lastly, sorry for the long post again, but I chopped my hair off! I went in to get it trimmed and the lady measured it and told me I had 13 inches if I wanted to cut it now. Well, you only need 10 for Locks of Love so off it went! I have some good thick hair I noticed as I was looking at it in the braid before I mailed it. So, here it is! Both straight and curly. I love it!

And, I guess Chris's wanted a head shot too :)

Ok, thats all, thanks for reading!

Chris's blog is awesome
'Sup ever'body, this is Chris! I just wanted to let you all know that I started my own blog to talk about my progress as a writer and how things are going in that neck of the woods. So if you're interested, check it out here. And even if you aren't interested, you should check it out anyway just for hoots and giggles. You might even like it.
Although if you look in on it right now I would appreciate it even more, because I'm currently seeking ideas for a writing project I'm working on at the moment. It briefly has to do with Mormons and Mormon culture, so if you have any input on the subject check out the blog for details and post a comment to the most recent post. I would really appreciate it!
Chris out!
